I think we can all agree that the minigun wielding dup guys are rooks. Thats the only piece left since augustine takes the role of queen(come on its hard to deny that)

    • Completely reasonable but the problem is that it has yet to be confirmed and even then for all we know their fortifications in this game could be called Rook(or some variation there of) which would then leave King but that makes no sense because Pawns can't upgrade to King. Um... do you get what I'm saying?

    • We're not adding any names or pictures until we hear it from SuckerPunch. It might be Rook, but we don't know yet.

    • Completely understandable and reasonable. It just seems to be part of their theme is where i got the idea.

    • I completely understand where you're coming from. Rook would fit great with that type. Which actually makes me wonder if Augustine is a King and the real mind behind the DUP is the Queen. But that's a question for another time I guess.

Delsin has refered to Augustine as Concrete Queen does that count for anything?

    • What I said could be vice versa, with Augustine (as the "Queen") being the front for the "King".

But if you're just talking about it in the chess sense, I haven't played the game, nor will I for a good amount of time, so I can't really reinforce it. Based off what you're telling me, it probably isn't a coincidence

    • Credits have voice actors for pawns, knights, bishops, and rooks. Given the lack of any other conduits on the ground it's pretty safe to assume they're the rooks which fits the fact they're slow movers but pack a mean punch, while knights blitz, and bishops support. Functionally in chess the king isn't particularly useful so that might actually be considered Congress having delegated so much power in dealing with conduits to the DUP in the past.

    • Sorry guys, I'm gonna have to close this thread. We're overflowing with them again and this is one of the lesser ones.
