Lightning Tether is an ability inFamous 2 that uses energy as a sort of grappling hook.

DescriptionEdit

Once gaining this ability, Cole MacGrath is able to pull himself to a building, or object, that are either moving or stationary. This is one of the last abilities Cole gains and is earned from the warehouse after he defeats a Titan.

The Lightning Tether has a fairly good range and accuracy, it is an extremely effective way to get up high buildings without having to climb all the way, as Cole can pull himself to the top with ease. It can also be used on cars, trucks and helicopters, allowing Cole to be pulled a great distance for a limited time.

Offensively, the Tether is useless against enemies and cannot be used on them, doing so will yield no result. It does however, have a common electricity on water effect, electrocuting anyone near water when the Tether is used.

TriviaEdit

• A similiar power to the Tether is the Lightning Hook, having an opposite effect, it instead pulls enemies and objects toward Cole instead of Cole being pulled toward the object.
  • The Lightning Hook however is labeled under the Blasts section and not in the same as the Tether.
